Just Played with an ATT GN3 - Free storage was twenty-four and a half GB

I'll still have my Sandisk Extreme 64GB !
I just wish they would release the device already !

Me too. I was posting it as a positive, not a negative. If memory serves me correctly, my current GN2 had about 10.5 GB free at the start. That means the new phone is only taking about 2.5GB more. If Verizon puts about the same amount of bloatware on their variant, I'll still have an extra 13 GB. I can totally live with that.

I had these visions of the new phones using half the available storage for new "essential" functionality. Glad to know I was probably just being paranoid.

Memory adds up when you put custom roms on your phone.
Some of them can be a couple gigs a piece. Not mentioning your back-ups- apps- music and movies

In the plus side you can move apps to the SD card.

man i was about to buy this card but I cant find any documents that state that note 3 supports UHS-1

Well, obviously we won't know for sure until someone tries it, but does it seem likely that Samsung would have removed support that worked in the Note 2?
