Just purchased Lux to help with screen brightness

Yep. Just started using it as well. For only one reason, though: I found the default brightness too dim in darker rooms. I always had to bump it up manually by about 10%.

Same, and the inverse applies too: when you adjust the brightness with Lux at the bottom end, it gets a little too bright too soon, so I added a step in Lux to make it ramp up a little more slowly.

For those using LUX, have any of you had luck with it preventing the overheating auto-dim? From all the reviews, it sounds like it may, but haven't seen any first hand reports of it.

My issue is specifically with the thermal dimming. I believe it to be overly aggressive, dimming my display when the temps aren't even over 100°F. I can understand the idea of thermal based dimming, but the G4 does it when I wouldn't even consider the phone to be warm, not to mention hot. I do have LUX Lite installed, but it doesn't seem to do anything. The phone's built in brightness control is still overriding it and dimming the display. I don't want to spend the money on the full version unless I know it can address this.
