Just read the fine print on the $100 & $150 Samsung Store Credit

I preordered my Note 10 directly from Samsung and had to use the $100 credit for accessories right then. At least that was how I understood it as it was emphasizing that the $100 was a one time only offer that would go away if not used then.

I pre-ordered our Note10 Pluses from AT&T, registered both phones on samsung.com, downloaded shop samsung, and have wasted almost an hour trying to register for the $150 credits---but can't even find a login option on shop samsung app. I did find the offer in tiny format but no option to apply for the offer---Same thing on samsung.com. Does anyone have advice for me, please?

It automatically logged me on as long as you were signed into your Samsung Account when you setup the phone. Then go to the top left 3 bars, into your Inbox. It should be in there.

Thanks. I wasn't logged into my Samsung account when I downloaded shop samsung. Surely that must be the problem, so I'll try that right now!

Well, when I attempted to log into shop samsung (after first logging in to my Samsung account on phone), I was required to give Samsung access to my Contacts! I seriously considered that & decided that's going too far. The pre-installed apps on my otherwise nice Note 10+ have requested a multitude of accesses to other personal apps, including Contacts, Calendar, Clock (of all things) that appear to have absolutely NO relationship with the app requesting these. I've had it with this unethical, & really immoral, invasion of my privacy. So, I uninstalled shop samsung & will forego the wonderful total of $300 credit for my husband & me---because some things are just not for sale.

The app needs the access to get the IMEI and serial number!

I am fine waiting for 6-8 weeks if I can put the $150 on a galaxy tab s6.

You do realize you can revoke those permissions and the app still works fine.
