Just received my handset, but the screen seems really grainy.

I love the design and feel of the phone in my hand, but the screen is very grainy. I can see it very much on the default background wallpaper and also on the whites of the phones icons. Coming from the crystal clear display of the S7 it is quite jarring and something I can't un-see. Is this normal? Thanks guys.

Agree I have had a v30 since it rolled out and have exchanged it twice for the same issue. A very good phone with a mediocre screen IMO, that does not come close to the screen clarity of my Samsung S8+

So even when you exchanged handsets you had the same issue? I was thinking about returning mine, but don't see the point if a new handset will have the same issue. Im just hoping I'll get used to it.

For me I didn't get any better screen quality and both replacements were NIB and opened in front of me. I've read that others have had better luck in the exchange process just not me.

That's definitely a defective unit. I would just go & exchange it. Before you accept the exchange, just do the same visual inspection.

The display on the phone is pretty solid. I have had mine since day one & no issues to report. It's just a smaller version of their award winning OLED TV screens.
