I'll probably return it some other day if I feel like I don't need it. It'll sit in my drawer and collect dust until then.

Hmmm.... So - here in the UK they are not offering spare batteries with a new purchase:-(

What's worse is that LG do not have any batteries for sale in the UK yet.

I spoke to the LG approved accessory people and... "oh you want a BL-51YF battery" - "err.... no - that's gone obsolete" - "What phone is it for? A G4 - errr.... no - no record of that..."

I explained - and they decided that it was a case of not having them is stock yet.

LG UK Customer Support of course would not give me any idea when they might be available,

One of the main reasons for purchasing this phone was because of the replaceable battery:-(

Not an overly happy customer at the moment.

I replied to them within minutes of them telling me they needed more info. I haven't heard from them and my rebate has not been updated. I have a feeling that the rebate will not be updated until they generate an automatic email anyway. So basically it took them almost 2 weeks to tell me there was a problem and now it's almost another week waiting for an update response. Gotta love it.

So I leave town for work tomorrow for a week, and was worried about not having my spare battery.... But it shows my freebie from lg and a spare from ebay both should deliver today.
My stress level is lessened.. San Diego instead of Texas June heat here I come.

I just checked the website and my status changed to approved! I didn't get the email yet or any shipping info but I know it's just a matter of time now. I just wanted to thank you again for the offer and let you know it's really appreciated. I'm glad I shouldn't need it though... Thanks again!

Yeh the irony in Lg promoting the removable battery but like you when i contacted Lg UK. My question, will you be selling replaceable batteries? and the response and i quote "not anytime soon".

I took this as a no we will never be selling going by her tone, only time will tell.

However I'm sure Anker will pop up on Amazon

Still i do find this ironic but more ridiculous than the former

I got my battery, charger and sd card yesterday. It took 19 day to arrive from the day I applied for it.
After charging the new battery and putting it in my LG4 I have been on battery for 22 hours and showing with current usage it will last another 15.5 hours.
Using proper battery management technique this phone lasts a very long time on a charge, now having two batteries I should be all set for a weekend without issue.
As asks always YMMV depending on your own usage habits.

Verizon has a funny way of doing reciepts. I couldn't find my reciept anywhere online so I sent them a crystal clear picture of the reciept that was sent with my phone. (I actually took the picture of the reciept with my G4). I really hope that works for them.

Any chance you would consider extending tje offer? Ill gladly pay shipping and even wilk send you my spare if it ever comes. I submitted via mail the day i got my phone. Nothing still. Was hoping for the spare battery for a concert im going to July 10 all day. Dont even need the card and would gladly give mine as well?
