Just Received PRL Update...

My PRL was at 006 and has jumped to 009....

Did anyone else get it? Is this a good or bad thing? Lol....

A PRL update doesn't make any difference in speed of the device or features or fixes. All it does is list the towers on which your device is allowed to use/roam. Of course, if they added a new tower (or contracted with another tower) nearby you, the PRL update might bring a stronger signal or different download/upload speed. But that is pretty rare.

Never doubt the value of the placebo!!

I've also heard if you text "increase 3G speed" to 90909 it will increase the speed of your 3G connection by 50%.
