Just saw samsung ad that says june 21st verizon

Maybe VZW was hedging their bets (July ship dates) on Apple trying to get a court injunction thus delaying GSIII launch in late June. But now that that isnt going to happen, the phones will go out "on time".

Thats my theory.

I just hope it doesn't arrive on a weekend. I have it shipping to my wife's office so someone is there to receive it. If it ships overnight, I might not have time to have it held at UPS or FedEx to pick it up on Saturday.

I just went and checked out the ad on yahoo.com. I confirm there is a Verizon ad showing a 6/21 date! Could it really be??? check it out for yourself. It's on the yahoo.com page.

Lol I dont know about the yahoo page didnt see it I think its just speculation .I did find this on the vzw web page but again I just think its a guess by this person too in the link I posted below ,. 15th post on this page

Please be aware that those in the Sprint thread, or AT&T thread last I checked havent gotten their shipping tickets yet either .I like everyone else wish they would ship already ,but oh well I knew the risk when I pre-ordered when saw the July 9th date

Yes, its coming on the 21st ....and you can pre order on Verizon. However I don't get out of this that's its coming to Verizon on the 21st.

It is a generic ad, you can see the same ad for Sprint. The 6/21 date is only indicative of the GSIII's debut in the U.S...unfortunately not carrier specific.
