Just switched from Samsung Galaxy S3. Love the look of the HTC but it is difficult to find a few things. Here's what I need some help with:

1. Can you change the battery level on the top of the phone to a percentage instead of the graphic? If so, how do you do this?
2. How much customization can you do by adding widgets to the main screen? (did a lot with the Galaxy)
3. Where are the widgets? Can't seem to find them...
4. If I want to turn the phone to silent or vibrate where can you do this easily?

While I love the look of the phone so far, the Galaxy S3 was much easier to change and configure things on the phone. Hoping some could shed light on this!! Thanks!

1. No, add an app to add a percentage icon?
2.pass not had one :)
3.press and hold a home screen to open widget menu
4. Keep pressing down on volume rocker to silent once more for vibrate

Thanks. Holding down home page and nothing is popping up to get to widgets. Is there another way? And once I am able to get thre can thes ebe brought onto the main screen where the apps appear?

When your on a homesreen pinch to zoom in or use the personalization options in the settings menu to add widgets

Thanks! Was able to figure this out through the personalization setting. Now the next question which I am sure has been asked a thousand times - can you reorder the home screens so the flipboard-ish one does not appear first? And how do you edit that one too?

Hey,

Im thinking of switching to the one from the S3. The S4's just too similar to the S3 and after playing with it, im really interested in all that hand waving nonsense!

Whats the one's battery consumption like?

Would you recommend a switch?

Battery life is standard to good (~14-16 hours with twitter, facebook, Blinkfeed refreshing every hour). I find it better than my AT&T S3 was stock and better than my Nexus 4 stock as well. So far I've not had a problem till I'm sitting at home at the end of the day and do some mobile gaming. That devours the crap out of battery life. Also keep in mind your cell service, switching from LTE to HSPA to 3G seems to do a number on the battery as its constantly checking for signal.

the widget named "profile" is the quickest and least annoying way to silence your phone. Or you can go easier and use nfc tags and/or Tasker to do ring profile changes and more.

Edit: I have an nfc tag on my key chain that toggles the master volume from full to zero. That way if I quickly need to completely silence my phone I just unlock the screen and tap the phone to the tag. Tap it again when I want sound back.

I could recommend 2 apps that may help you. Power toggles. Gsam battery monitor. There you can select a battery with percent to overlay your current battery to show the percent
