Just upgraded my phone

I just got my s9+. So my question is how can u tell if this phone is a fake version or not. I got it on Amazon. Some reviewers say its great and some say they got a phone that was fake or no phone at all.
It suppose to be a USA region phone.
The phone model is SM-G965UZBV1.
Can't seem to find the IMEI #. And it saids it's made in Vietnam.
Is the phone suppose to come with a instruction booklet of sorts?
It came with a flimsy case.
The back of panel is plastic. I thought it was a glass backed panel.
Actually back of the phone I do c the IMEI number. But it's hard to c.
Any help would be great.

Usually the real ones that has a plastic clear case in the box are Exynos meant for outside the US.

Go to settings > about phone>status
Should say official,imei number should match the box,serial number should match the box.
That model number is USA version

It seems legit.

But do u guys know how to tell if the phone has been refurbished?
I did some search online. And some people can put a code on the phone dial pad like ##768 #. But that code does not work on my phone. Apparently these codes only work with certain galaxy s9 plus phones.

So it seems my phone was a Verizon s9 plus. I called Samsung and they checked the imei. Whom ever the seller is, they must of taken out or did something to it take out all of Verizon built in app or whatever they did.
I assume that's why my s9 didn't include any booklet or quick guide. It came with a flimsy case.
So...not sure what to do.
