Just wondering.

Would any of you ever consider getting rid of your thunderbolt for an iPhone?

No chance. My wife has one and it's nice and all (good for her), but there is zero customization and I hate, HATE iTunes.

But why? You got a friend with an iPhone that wants to switch or something? Or are you trying to get a second Bolt?

Maybe, I've never used an iphone so I would have to test one out before I committed to it. Now, would I give up my Thunderbolt for a Droid X ...... YES. In a heartbeat. I miss my Droid X daily. Im currently selling my Bolt and will re-purchase a Droid X when it sells.

I dont live in a 4G area so I wont miss the fast internet. I just dont like Sense and the overall HTC experience I have had. For the record, my Bolt NEVER has had a reboot or any of the other issues, that plagued so many Bolts, No reboots, no kickstand peeling etc......I just prefer my Moto to this.

I did not think of replacing my Thunderbolt, but I wanted to supplement it with a dedicated music device. I bought an iPod touch to try out iOS..... and I hated it. Maybe I am biased because of my hatred for wifi-only devices, but the OS was just boring. In 2 hours I was sick of it. And while the games and apps look better (there's no arguing that), I couldn't justify purchasing things on both OS's. Needless to say, I returned iPod and am content with the Thunderbolt for the time being.

But something needs to be done with the amount of low-quality games from big developers (*cough, cough* PopCap). Once that is sorted, Android has the potential to surpass iOS.

I have been kinda thinking of selling my bolt and getting either an iPhone 4 or waiting for a new one since there are rumors of a release at the end of August.

I have been thinking about why I would wanna and it just might be for the different experience and the battery life.

I love my bolt but I kinda want something different.

Never. Just got it working great (with the latest OTA) why would I think about getting rid of it for a proprietary pos like the iPhone. :D

iPhone LTE, sure, I'd consider it. I'd also consider a Windows Phone LTE. We'll see. I have a discounted upgrade available right now. But so far I don't see another phone on VZW that I would prefer over the TBolt.

nope. I dislike apple and would never get an iphone...I do have an ipod with ios4 on it..and it basically never us it anymore. it just sits in my glove box hooked up to my car stereo. I tried to use it the other day and I was really taken back at how ****ty it is compared to my Bolt.

Hell no!

I feel like going from the Android OS to iOS is a step backwards. Its more "user-friendly" qualities just make it feel less powerful and customizable.

Not for the current iPhone 4. But after whatever the new one that comes out this fall/winter, I'd consider it. Depends on what they add/improve over the current one.

Yea I was planning on waiting for whatever they bring next.

Word on the street is that the next VZW iPhone will still not have LTE.

No way, never, not gonna happen. Period. Ever even. My wife made us move to Verizon so she could get an iPhone; she and my son ended up getting thunderbolts as well.

No way. The IPhone is too plain for me. It is too simple, too easy to use, cannot do what I want.
