Hi there,
I want to try K9 Mail. I set up a pop account for it and then set up the account in K9 Mail. Incoming mail is/was working fine. However, I could not get the settings right for outgoing mail - kept getting the error that it couldn't connect to the server. I tried all the authentication settings, username and username@mypopacct.net - nothing I tried would make the outgoing smtp mail thing work.
Sooooo, I'm wanting to delete the account and start over but I I can't find where to delete/remove the account in K9 Mail. I was able to delete it from the phone settings but not K9 mail.
Secondly, although I know individual servers play the biggest part of the settings, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the smtp to work? The help page at my ISP must be old or something because what it tells me to do for Android phones doesn't work either.
I'm thinking I set it up as POP and maybe should have set it up as IMAP but I also can't find in K9 where to edit this.
Your help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
