It seems that this app is currently not compatible with Android M and created a serious problem with my Wi-Fi connectivity. After doing an OTA upgrade to Marshmallow on my Nexus 5, the first thing I noticed was KIS notifying me I needed to update my viral database. When I tried to do this, the database would not update and just kept re asking me over and over to repeat this procedure. At this point I had Wi-Fi connectivity on my 5 Ghz band. I deceided to try switching to my 2.4 Ghz connection. This caused me to loose all my abilty to connect to any Wi-Fi connection. My Wi-Fi was essentailly dissabled,
going through and endless connection attempting loop that never succeeded or ended. I was suspicious of Kaspersky Internet Security from the get go and sure enough after booting into safe mode which disabled the app, everything was suddenly working again and my Wi-Fi connected instantly. I decided to uninstall the app and reboot back into normal mode. Sure enough KIS was definitely the culprit. My Wi-Fi was working perfectly again! To anyone having problems with Android M, just be sure to boot into safe mode to make sure it isn't some app that is causing the problem! I was getting so frustrated with not having Wi-Fi, that I was almost ready to roll back to Lollipop. Hopefully this will be useful to others!
