Kat Kat Email Client Fails

I'm generally OK with the Kit Kat update on my Nexus 7 (2013) but the email client is woefully inadequate. Was this tested at all?

1. Let's start with how the last deleted message doesn't go away in Combined View.

2. When viewing a message in Combined View, there is no Folder
Icon. In order to file a message I need to go to the specific account view.

3. There is no easy way to refresh the Combined View. When new messages come in I have to access the sidebar, select a specific account inbox, then select Combined View before I can see a refreshed view.

At least I don't use Exchange so all of my email accounts work.

I'm surprised no one else has commented on this deeply flawed app.

I posted about how I can't get it to display my name, it just displays the email address. Guess no one else has experienced that though. Seriously contemplating switching to K-9, only thing stopping me is swiping between messages is broken.

I D/Led Aqua mail and it's doing all I want it to do. Nice alternative.

I am experiencing all of the problems MotoTom has described with my 2 IMAP and 1 Exchange accounts plus the widget never seems to update. It is very frustrating since everything else in Kit Kat is much better. They tried to make the e-mail client more like Gmail, but didn't test it very well. Now I may have to look for another e-mail client since I don't like deleting messages 2-3 times.
