This might be a covered question somewhere, I haven't found it though. I flashed a kearnel that works really well and can't remember which one. How can I verify which kearnel I'm running?

remember which one you flashed because i dont think there is a way to tell. i tried looking and asking...

yeah if you go to the info section, but it isnt always the name of the zip file you flashed

that reads the same for everyone. all the kernels are based on 2.6.29. so they will all say 2.6.29, regaurdless of which one you flash.

the way to tell which kernel you have is...................

you guessed!! dont forget which kernel you flashed!!

Setcpu info, while it says 2.6.29 also gives you additional information that includes name and date. While I have that kernel version, it also shows the flashed kernel dated 1-21-11 on it. Showed the 12/30 version when I had it on there as well.

oooo. as soon as i get my phone back up do to an unfortunate flash back ot stock i will check that out.

If I go to setcpu and look under info I get:
Linux version 2.6.29 (imnuts@virtualbox).... #1 sat jan 15th 02:28:46 est 2011

I am running the 1/15 imnuts voodoo kernel. It does not say voodoo anywhere or that it is -100 uv but it does say who made it and the date.

Thanx guys, also dl the midnight theme from list of Tom's kearnels and themes thread and when I booted into cwm rec it just said find zip and stuck there, removed battle and rebooted, any ideas?
