Keep Application Recorded Notes Playback Issue?

Has anyone been able to check out the Keep application? If so has anyone checked out the recording feature to take notes? I've noticed that on my Nexus 7 device the application is able to understand and transcribe my speech to text but when playing back the recording all I hear is static. It appears to happen after every 2-3 recordings. Anyone else having this issue?
