I use Textra all the time. But I only get this message sometimes. I can't link it to any specific act, like a picture or group message....etc.

Anyone know?

you have to go into the app permissions, and turn it off for Textra. That should stop you from getting this notifications.

I see that only when I reply to a text message using my Gear S3 (watch).

I have used textra for years and have gotten the "textra was detected bla bla bla" only in the last few months, I just swipe and it goes away. I'll try denying the app permission....but I thought for it to work it had to have permission?

Turning it off doesn't turn off the permission itself, it turns off "permission monitoring" for that app, so you won't get that notification any more.
