ALL of my pics are not viewable anymore via Gallery or camera.

Poking around ASTRO, found them under DCIM Thumbnails and 100 folders.


Did the SDRescan app I saw on another thread, didn't work.

How do I get these photos back where they belong.

I can tolerate many of the hiccups that I have had with this phone, in the name of progress and tech...however, I am not going to tolerate a simple task that my old DARE did a better job with.


Ideas before I test the glass durability in the damn thing?

BTW essentially factory rooted phone and very small debloat and WIRELESS tether app addition.

Will a factory reset make me lose root?

Never had any language in it, just held down SHIFT and ran my finger back and forth on the number keys. Oh well.

Can u move the photos off the phone and off the computer. If u can then I would try re formatting the SD card

Ok, so I pulled the SD, and am currently getting them off and uploaded to photobucket to store. I have a most of all of my apps moved to the card, plus some music and other files....best care, just copy everything over the the laptop, then format the card?

What is the process for formatting the SD?

Just find the drive on your computer, right click on it, and go down to format.

If this doesnt fix it, i would try another SD card. Maybe your card is bad?

lol.....I was a little confused by the edit, but whatever, I am just a guest here. I did it to convey a point, not to offend. And even I have yet to see a vulgar word that is more than 20 letters long, as was demonstrated by the length of symbols.
