Keep phone speaker enabled during bluetooth call?

I am curious if there's a way to keep the built-in headset speaker enabled while the phone is connected via Bluetooth, even if this means downloading an app.

You could give SoundAbout a try, although I'm not sure if it allows for simultaneous output to the handset speaker and the Bluetooth earpiece.

Thanks! I tried that application out, but there's only one output at a time allowed.

That's because of the way Android (and Linux) works.

You'd have to use an external Bluetooth adapter and an external speaker, connected together and plugged into the earphone jack.
