Keep stock boot animation with CM7

Which stock animation? 2.2 or 2.3 animation?

Either way I'm sure you could find the zip somewhere on the web and you would just flash it like a ROM/WITHOUT wiping data.

I know UltimateDroid rom has an option to switch between a bunch of boot animations, you might be able to find the stock one from them.

Yup that's what I'm running right now an just checked, it does have the 2.2 boot animation, and its a really good ROM its stable and very very fast.

go to settings/UD/extras/bootanimations click the on you like then click yes to install and yes to let multiple packages have superuser permission, and when it finishes installing reboot your phone and see your new boot animation.

To get it on CM7 you can probably steal the actual boot animation from UD and then install it into your CM7 rom

I don't think so because I think the bootanimations in UD are stored on their server and when you dl and install it stores in the system, unless theres some command you could put in terminal to store boot animation on sd card.
