Keeping Apps Loaded in Background vs. S8/S8+

I've had my S8+ since April and was always disappointed in how often apps have to reload when maximized (and I do not keep more than a few open at once).

Look like my Note 8 which is on the way is going to be a noticeable upgrade. Not sure if it's totally due to the extra 2GB or RAM or software optimization, but it will definitely make a big difference...
 
it's wayyyy better on note 8 compared to the s8 series. I'd say it's on the iPhone level finally where almost everything stays

I've never had this experience on any iPhone I've owned. I can leave Instagram and Facebook open to a page all day or even until the next day on my S8+ and Note 8 but on my 6S/6S+, I'm lucky if I can come back four hrs later and not have either app reload, losing the page I was looking at.

Even on my S7 Edge, I could count on one of these apps staying open on the page I left it on all day or even a few days. Never on the iPhone.
