Keeping back and home button illuminated

Anyone know how to have the back and home button stay illuminated as long as the screen is on

Most phones will make use of the light sensor to decide if the hardware buttons should be lit or not. If it's dark enough, then the buttons will be lit, but if it's light enough, they'll stay off, since you should be able to see them without help.

You can try an app called Soft Buttons Light on the Market... It sometimes works and sometimes doesnt,,but also be warned..After installing this, I was unable to sideload apks or install anything off the Amazon store (though the regular market worked fine). It created an invisible overlay that prevented me from clicking the install button on those things

Same thing happens with Screen Filter by Haxor, if you dim the screen too low. But the Install button works fine when you turn off the filter.
