Keeping it in your pocket....

i recently read this article that says keepng your phone on your side actually reduces your hip bone density.. so i keep mine in my pocket!

Cell phones may reduce hip bone density

Be careful with any of these "statistics". It's pretty easy to skew the numbers to represent what you want them to be. The media does this ALL the time to scare the general public.

Anyways, I usually keep my phone on my hip because the lint from my pocket was messing everything up.

So if it does that to your hip what is it doing in your pocket!:D

I know what you are gonna say. Someone could snatch it right?
Well it helps being a 6'4" 210Lbs, firefighter.
Oh and that is not a pic of my butt.

phone in front left, keys in front right, wallet in back. i do find that my screen is slightly opened sometimes when i get my phone. maybe like, 2mm open, but it never turns on thescreen or anything. i too am a little worried about lint, after replacing my lense on my blackberry i had bad lint problems. i hope that this screen is sealed really well!

Just from initial impressions, the screen looks pretty flushed with the rest of the casing. If anything, it's A LOT better than my Storm 1.

If on my hip, it has an effect on my hip bone, what does it do in my pocket, alonside the, erm, well, 'family jewels'...? Personally I'd prefer the hip issues.

I keep it in my pocket and make sure I take out anything else that could scratch the screen. I've never had a problem with it (except when I had a Pre).

I keep mine in my front pocket. I had one of the original Passport radar detectors from years ago and it came with a nice black leather case (actually more like a sleeve) which fits the new phone perfectly. It goes into the leather case before going into my pocket

I'm keeping it in my pocket now but not by choice. I work in healthcare and my uniform doesn't work well with pocketting a cell phone. (Slides out on floor or gets sat on). Waiting patiently for siedio to come out with their case/holster combo.

Mine rotates between front pockets. I keep nothing else in the pocket with it just to be sure and i also have a screen protecter. I had my storm for about a year and did the same thing. The screen protecter is a bit beat up now and there is some lint around the screen, but the storm did have a pretty sizable gap between the screen and casing.

I have front right pocket for Droid only. Also for lint when you wash pants turn pockets inside out. Never had any issues. Hope that helps. Oh also face the glass screen towards your legs incase you bump it. Still hope it helps.
