Is there a way to keep photos from the internet

Long-tap (tap and hold) on the image until the menu comes up, it will give you an option to save it.

FYI, long-tapping is sort of like right-clicking, you often get a lot of hidden menu options that way.

Hmmm I guess it doesnt work on facebook, i tried it on other sites and it worked fine
