I am trying to figure out a way to keep an application active in memory.
With my Evo I was able to play Dungeon Defenders and escape out to browse/check messages/whatever and comeback to the game right where I left off. I am trying to recreate this ability on my new Epic without much luck. The game gets closed and cleared from memory as soon as I hit the home screen. Is there anyway to force the phone to keep the game in memory so I can switch back to it? Or maybe free up more ram so that the system doesnt think it needs to immediately free up the memory the game was using?
I have about 190mb of free ram running with the midNIGHT 4.1 rom and genocide 0.3a kernel right now. I have tried other roms without success as well...cyanogen and MiUi. Does anyone have some advice to help me with this problem?
