keeps asking for update even though I have updated it

I know get this problem where an app has been updated but still shows on the updates section. if I tap update it just shows pending then does nothing and it doesn't show how many bytes it has underneath its the Google Play Games update

I also saw this with Google Play Games last night. I think it's just a bug. Give it a few days.

Yeah, I'm still seeing it too. I don't think it's a big deal -- I'm just waiting for them to fix it at their own pace.

I’ve noticed that for several weeks. Tapping makes those ones disappear, because they have in fact updated normally.

Tapping the box that says Update.

My assumption when this started happening was that the update had not worked for some reason, or that there was another update immediately after the first; but no, it’s presumably just some glitch.

I’ve encountered it with several apps, though I don’t now recall which - but certainly, with some Google apps at least. Perhaps only Google apps - I haven’t noticed.

For the current glitch, tapping Update for Google Play Games actually doesn't do anything for me -- it seems to try updating it for a split second, then returns to the previous state where the Update button is still there.

thats what mine does as well
