[KERNAL] Merge 2fast

I've never flashed my kernel before and was wanted to know what we use to flash the file. Do you do this is recovery like you do when youre flashing a ROM?

Am I missing something here? I keep hearing Merge this and Merge that, but this is posted in the Evo Design forum.

Do these two devices use the exact same kernel?

Merge is just the name of the kernal

The kernal is for the evo design

HTC makes a device by the same name. Has a keyboard if I remember correctly. You sure this is for the Evo Design?

2fast had the merge before the hero s (same as design 4g). He said he was too lazy to change the name on the kernel.
Edit: I think he said that the clock steps & undervolting were the same between the phones (merge & hero s / design)

4g doesn't work while using this kernel it just scans and turns off also can't update prl, profile, or anything else what could cause that

Oh ok it still works just 4g wont turn on....sent these phones from the same build? And can i flash any evolution rom for the design? (I'm new to evo I'm coming from a transform)

I'm not a very hard person to get a hold of, where I would prefer if you when people post my stuff for me. That they at least post a link where they can get support from me. Where the number two sites I visit and post is my site or xda.

In turn I would have known about issues with the said kernel. How ever if you check my site under the hero section. There is a heros/design 4g kernel with the wimax modules. Which should fix the 4g, how ever I do not have one to test on. So it is up to someone to tell me if it does.
