[KERNEL][5.10.11][2.6.32.21] Kernels from Adrynalyne (Now on Kernel Manager!)

I've been running Kernel 4.4.2 on Bamf 1.4 Remix since last Friday and everything is awesome! Battery life is so much better and the phone screams when using it.

One thing is that I'm having to bump charge it every time I pull it off the charger, whether I charge it powered on or off. I never had to bump charge while stock, but this is not important compared to the pros of this ROM/Kernel setup! Thanks for your work!

I flashed 4.4.2 on thursday last week and it does provide very good battery life. I didnt encounter and FC's until i set the max cpu to 600, which actually worked like a charm for hours with amazing battery life until i started driving and used gps while recieving calls and switching/searching for 3g/4g signals all at once.

I am now running at 900 max and 250 min, with profiles for screen off at 600 and battery saver at 700. Has been very stable except during my tests of how low i could take it and still have everything function properly.

BTW i am using das bamf 1.4 remix

And i definitely recommend clearing setcpu data and rebooting before screwing with the settings.

Also i'm using the conservative governor.

Of course just hours after I flashes 4.4.5, I see that 4.4.6 is out. I appreciate the hard work and will be sending a brew your way.

I can't download from kernel manager for some reason. I go to the kernel I want, hit info, download and install, and it just takes me back to the main page.

There is a link to dl in the OP of this thread. Place the zip file on your sd card and flash it manually in cwr.

Yeah, that's how I've been doing it. Just wondering why I couldn't do it from kernel manager.

On the xda thread yesterday people were reporting problems with the version from Kernel Manager Lite. For some reason, wifi wouldn't work if you downloaded from Kernel Manager Lite. Possible that they've made it temporarily unavailable until they figure out the issue.

Thanks, I bet that's what it is. I don't know why else kernels would be listed on Kernel Manager if you can't download them :D. I mean isn't that the point?

Okay which is the kernel? Because in kernel manager I see 4.4.5 from May 5th, that;s the most updated one that shows is that this one?

Also having the problem that I can't download kernels, takes me back to main page & doesn't work with wifi nor 4g.

The latest version of this kernel is 4.4.7. There's a download link in the first post. There's also a link for 4.4.5 if that's what you're looking for.

can I flash it through rom manager? which caches do I clear? Davlik, Partion & Data? OR just Davlik>

Boot into recovery and use ClockworkMod. You can do this using Rom Manager.

Clear cache and Dalvik cache if you wish. I generally do but others don't bother.

Install zip from SD card and select the kernel file you downloaded.

Confirm install which will only take a few moments.

Go back to main menu and select the option to reboot.

Good luck.

Alright, I'm gonna see how 4.4.7 goes, the standard kernel that comes with 1.6 remix is TERRIBLE for battery life, at least for me.

umm guys a bit of help I misclicked in clockword mod, and I get a page that I can select:

128M
256M
512M
1024M
2048M
4096M

And it says Back Menu Button Disabled.

I'm scared, not sure if I did something wrong.

edit: Oooh, Nevermind, I almost formatted my SD, all those wonderful pictures, almost lost them, I went back and installed the kernel, let's see how this goes.
