Im trying to decide which way to go and am looking for some input. I was considering just going with genocide 2.0 and staying with froyo but then was looking at syndicate 1.2 which everyone apparently loves. Really all im interested in is long battery life, no bloatware, STABILITY and the ability to customize certain things such as call log and no more carrier IQ(if its as bad as they say) I dont need to overclock although i wouldnt mind underclocking for battery savings. Ive read and read but im still undecided. Any input is appreciated.

Well to make things simple.. If you want carrier removal and stability you need to go with a custom ROM. We all know stock Froyo has its issues and the only way your going to fully get away from most of them is by going with a custom ROM.

Plus removing bloatware on a custom ROM is much easier along with the pluses like carrier removal, call log fix, rotation lag fix, dropped/missed/laggy keyboard fix.

Take your pick there is quite a few ROMs to choose from. SRF, Bonsai, RandomROM, EC05Plus, they are all great ROMs which have held up very well.
