Keyboard Case

I have a Galaxy Tab 3 and have had it for years. It still works good so I don't need a new one. However I just got a keyboard case for it and it isn't working... Yet it works with my Galaxy S5 phone as well as with my RCA tablet... Just not the galaxy tab. It's the keyboard you connect with the cable not Bluetooth. Any suggestions?

It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. A 7" wifi tablet. Model #SM-T210R

It's just a universal one I got on EBay. I don't see any model #s or brand. It works on my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone and on my RCA tablet. Just not the Tab3.

Did you reboot your tablet after connecting the cable to it?

Check and see if your model has usb OTG support, it may not which is why it isn't working on that model but does on others.

Just did a quick google.

"According to Samsung and this review (down near the end of the review), the 8" and 10" Galaxy tab 3s have OTG, but apparently the 7" does not."

Since yours is the 7" your out of luck with any OTG features, Bluetooth might be an option tho.

I saw that too but when I ran a USB Otg checker from the app store it said it was compatible... But I'm thinking maybe not since it won't work. Thank u for ur help!
