Keyboard cover nightmare

Great news to report back. I finally exchanged my case today and my adhesive was definitely defective. As soon as I took the clear plastic off this one and lined it up it secured the hold immediately. The other one could even stay on for 5 secs. So happy that my problem was fixed and thank you all for the suggestions. I can finally enjoy my tab like it should be enjoyed

Could never do this with the other case. My tablet would be shattered from disconnecting from the case lol...1568225421273.jpeg

This is how I normally carry my tab.... So this is obviously a must!!!! Hahaha
Ha ha I tested it like that to make sure I can prop the tablet at any angle I choose. That's one thing that makes the cover better than the one for the tab S4. You are very limited on the viewing positions.

OK, after a few days of working ok. The backing just fell off. It reattached and seems to stay connected. I may have to use new sticky tape to solidify it

So how do you guys with the cases feel about all the sides of the tablet being exposed. I have only ever used regular amazon bought cases that have the 4 corners and side protections. I was going to put the Samsung Keyboard cover on, but I am worried about the lack of side protection for the tablet, especially when I put it in my bag and carry it around with me.

BTW, I am typing this with the Keyboard portion of the cover, while my tablet is still in one of those Amazon cases.20190912_164759.jpg

O wow that doesn't put me at ease. Mines seem so strong but it's only been 2 days lol

It seems to be ok now.. I jerked the cover around and it's holding up fine. I'm not worried about it falling off again

I got mine in the mail today. Not super impressed with the adhesive... it has already slid off twice while I am adjusting the kickstand. I like the concept, but I'll have to see if I can tolerate using it. I miss the pogo-pin concept from the tab S2.

this is my third day with tab s6 256 and never had any issue with keyboard stand...

I cleaned the adhesive and the back of the tablet with alcohol last night, and let it adhere overnight. This morning it seems to be adhered tightly.

I still don't like the concept, but it seems to have adhered finally. I'm going to leave it on an never mess with it again. I have a replacement on the way from amazon just in case, but it won't arrive for a month, it is on backorder.

My keyboard cover came in yesterday and so far so good. Aligned it as instructed and it stuck on firmly. Seems to be a hit or miss as some of the YouTube videos I watched had that "not sticking to the tablet firmly" issue while others have had no problems. HOPEFULLY, this doesn't become an issue down the road. I am using the keyboard cover to type this comment as we speak :)

Every since I replaced the defective one mines has been working perfectly with and without keyboard attached. I can adjust it in any angle without it coming off. Very pleased.

Apparently it's because some think it's sticking because of an adhesive or magnet, which it is not. The adhesive is not there to make the cover stick to the back. It's there to create a vacuum. Basically you have to press it firmly pushing air out of the middle area and make sure the adhesive seals around the area to create a vacuum in the middle. This creates a suction making the cover stick to the back.

I don't care if it uses pixie dust and ground unicorn bones... if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. And mine doesn't work. I was just sitting and watching a video and it fell off.

Get it exchanged. I had the same issue with my 1st one. The one I have now I can literally write on it using the spen in any position without having to worry about the back coming off or case collapsing.
