Keyboard/Emulator problem

Is anyone else having issues with the physical keyboard and emulators? Specifically my issue is with diagonal movement, if I'm holding a diagonal button, and then try to quickly switch to a non-diagonal direction, it doesn't register the key press. Makes playing games like Tecmo Super Bowl very difficult.

dont play emulators but thats were the d1 came in handy
