Keyboard extremely slow and won't disappear after the app is closed

[AC Question]

I have a s7 edge and my keyboard has suddenly become really slow when typing and when I click of the app I'm using such as WhatsApp the keyboard stays on the screen for about 10 seconds and then disappears. I'm not sure if it's to do with the latest update as it started happening after it was update or could be a coincidence. Does anyone have an suggestions?

I have the same exact problem with my s7 edge. Also right after update. Sometimes the keyboard lasts for over 10 seconds though.
