Keyboard layout is really annoying. I use swiftkey x I am constantly hitting a one of the letters on the lowest row instead of the space bar. I have the problem with all keyboards.
anyone else have this problem?

Yes, but swift key X seems to alleviate this problem.

Have you tried Better Keyboard Pro? It allows you to get rid of the comma and make the space bar bigger.

Also, have you used the calibrate feature so your phone learns where you press keys? (The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog)

How do i calibrate it?

Better Keyboard is good. The Calibration is nice but the only problem is, after using it a little while it doesnt seem to perform as fast as it did when you first started using it. I know, Lol right? To me its just not as fast and on point as a, lets say, Motorola Android Multitouch Keyboard. There keyboard has been the best Ive ever used in speed and acuracy.

Whoops, I lied. Smart Keyboard Pro is the one I'm using. I used to use Better Keyboard (and I'm fairly certain you can calibrate that one too).

Go to Smart Keyboard Pro Settings. Click "General Settings" then "Calibration"

The other thing you can do (since the Infuse screen is huge) is change the key height (so the keyboard is bigger, might mean less error). That option is also in Smart Keyboard Pro (right under Calibration, actually).

Hope this helps!

Have you tried Swype? I lasted like 2 days and couldn't get the hang of it. One of my friends who uses it swears by it and says it's much faster... apparently not for me! :)

After trying several different ones I have settled on the Thumb Keyboard. Love it. My wife now uses it on her Captivate as well.

I've settled for SwiftKey x and I love the neon theme.

I'm not sure about other keyboards, I use Thumb Keyboard, but I can change the height of the keys/space bar. I tend to hit the row of letters above the space bar, so I made the letters about 80% height and the space bar 120% height so it's much bigger.
