Keyboard - How do I access the upper symbols - ?,!, etc?

Is there an alt key somewhere? I'm sure it's right under my nose, LOL! I'm tired of switching to the numeric keyboard for ?,!,', etc. Thanks!

Yeah, I didn't learn this either till I wiped the phone, and actually went through the little tutorial... Kind of neat.
