keyboard issue-I can't long press

I've been having a problem with my keyboard since the update. There are times when I cannot longress a letter to bring up a number/symbol. It will just put the letter on the screen but no other options appear.


Then I noticed when I'm in the messaging app, that if I press on one if the message threads, it will very briefly highlight another message farther down on the list but still open the one I chose.


A battery pull does fix this but it's quite annoying and I we wondering if anyone else was experiencing this.

I just came here looking for the same exact issue. A restart helps, but it appears shortly after again. Very annoying and only since the update.

Ditto here. Keyboard was acting very strange. Although I seemed to notice it was only when plugged into the charger, and only started since the update

I'm not having problems with a long press, but wonder do have a question about the voice input. I press the microphone key but only seem able to input a few words at a time. Then I have to press it again for more words. Is there any way to keep it on for several sentences at a time?

This may be a completely different issue altogether, but I am having a major amount of lag when I try to open a conversation in the messaging app. I was noticing the lag before the update but now it has bumped up significantly. Anyone else having this type of issue or know how to correct it?

Any resolution to the long press issue? It's getting pretty annoying.
