Keyboard issues

A major issue I have recently is the keyboard comes up when it wants to on occasion. I will click the area to type and it has literally taken up to 30 seconds for the keyboard to pop up.
Anyone else had this issue?

Are you using the stock keyboard?
Have you tried wiping the cache partition on your phone?

What version of Android are you on as well? I heard that on the 4.4.4 and Swiftkey don't play to nice with each other. However I have not personally seen that.

I had a few keyboard randomness before the update, not so many now though
