keyboard isuues on nexus 7 2013 urgent

Hello I have a really bad thing going on here, it is almost impsoosble to type on my nexus 7 because whenever I hit keys it automatically inserts random letters, mainly u, please help I can hardly type, in fact used voice type to write this, I have not dropped the tablet ever also or exposed it to watertr, screenshot of what happens

Does that happen regardless of whether the keyboard is in portrait or landscape orientation? I'm wondering if it's a software issue or something to do with that specific part of the screen where the "u" key is.

Only portrait with top up but if I have bottom up works fine

That would, as B. Diddy surmised, point to a defective spot on the touch screen. Whenever you press certain parts of the screen, the part near the "u" key is activated too. (Unfortunately, that usually requires a screen replacement.)
