Keyboard not letting me change letters to symbols

Like if you hold down "m" it would change and put it into a ? Mark. It won't do that anymore it will just put the letter in a text as usual. I want to change it back.

Also, force stop the app, clear it's cache and reboot it.

Welcome to the forums. What phone do you have and which keyboard are you using? Can't you get the symbols while holding the '?123' key?

Thank you. I'm using a samsung galaxy s6 edge. Samsung keyboard. I can get to the symbols like that but I'm so used to pressing down on a key to get it quickly.
