keyboard on top of lock screen ?

if i am texting and have swiftkey open and put the phone down for a minute or so the wake the phone up the keyboard is on top of the lock screen ? any idea's it never did this before it only started doing it this morning

1st option restart phone
2nd option uninstall swiftkey and re - install it (you will not lose it's data)

I noted that there was an update to swiftkey on the 10th. It acted weird on my wife's s4.
The un - install cured it.
