Keyboard problem, maybe you can help?

Since the Droid X keyboard no longer works after upgrading to Froyo I've been trying to change to another keyboard. See the problem is when i go to activate another the default HTC Keyboard (I hate the arrows) won't deactivate... any suggestions?

got it to work by changing the input method in a text instead of going to settings like i was

Tried it out. Much better than the stock keyboard IMHO. Nothing can beat Swype though.

I got bored with Swype after a couple of weeks and back to using the X keyboard. There's some odd satisfaction about using a keyboard.

Im not to crazy about swype, i prefer the Droid X KB....
