Keyboard problem

I have the swyp keyboard, and all of the sudden i cant swype it anymore, but i can still type regular on it.. Weird? If i try to dwype, a blue boarder flashes but no message or anything..

It's a documented issue with the beta. If you long press the area and select a different keyboard then change it back to swype it will work again.

I've tried that, I've also tried downloading it from different places thinking it might fix it, but still no luck... is it just some bad luck that I have to wait for a legitimate invite to the beta instead of just downloading it? I miss swype.. its so good

There is a version out there that seems to work, at least for the moment, no mic though, and not themed as well as others.

You may want to take that link down rpfarrah. The mods / admins etc do not like people linking to leaked beta's etc of Swype.

No need to apologize to me, I don't see the problem with it, maybe they got a nasty letter about it? I was just giving you a heads up so you don't get in trouble.

I have the same problem sometimes. The only fix I have found is to switch to the regular keyboard then to switch back. I have reported this bug to swype and you should to so the are aware of it.

It's been noted in their beta forums for over two months now. They are aware of it.
