Keyboard won't pop up?

My HTC One M8 keyboard won't pop up on anything...texts, searches, facebook, etc. Ive restarted it multiple times, emptied the app cache, made sure it was enabled, pretty much everything I can think of except resetting it or throwing it at a wall and getting an iPhone. Any other options anyone can think of?

You need to uninstall updates on the webview app. Its been causing issues for many people and the keyboard is one of the bugs. Google supposedly is working on it.

This is a known bug in HTC One phones since Lollipop, it is very frustrating to say the least, Anyway, try installing a 3rd party keyboard and see if that prompts the keyboard to pop up. I normally restart or go into my Lock Screen and then back, in order for the keyboard to pop up again And yes, I have a 3rd party keyboard.
