so I installed both swiftkey and flext9 keyboards. I checked the boxes in the settings/language and input, but when I go to any application to try to use anything but the stock keyboard, I can't. On my OG all I had to do is long press in the entry box and the input option would come up.
now all I get is full editor and quick text in my handcent or nothing in my email or google search box. How do I change the keyboard to one of my other apps?

There is a default keyboard setting on the input screen.

I miss the long press method...easier to jump around multiple keyboards.

thanks, that's what I needed.

Even better...sorry for the late follow-up...when you are in an input field you can pull down the notification bar and select a different input option...
