Keyboards?

OK, discussing it all morning on this thread I decided to just go with SwiftKey and typing this post with it. Soooo happy on predictive word and autocorrect from the start and haven't hit the comma button once lol.

If you havent used it in a while SK has come a long way. The beta allows custom image backgrounds now too.

It has emoji predictions and GIFs built in.

Best prediction Ive experienced. Also I've been using it forever so it knows me now.

I tried GBoard again, it just isn't as good as SK for me, predictions are bizarre and I'm used to holding the back key to erase an entire word, something that GB doesn't do.

Man, been texting on and off since 11am today (8:35pm now) with some heavy 1 hour blocks now and then using SwiftKey and I haven't hit that comma button once by accident and the text prediction has been almost perfect and no lag/hiccups. Test successful.

Voice dictation seems to be really fast and accurate now... I think it's using Google voice instead of what is used on Samsung?

I know if I were using Samsung keyboard. I would have been pissed with commas and such and texting, "ttyl" long time ago.

Just got my 1000 word mark notification from Swiftkey. Anyone on the fence, SwiftKey IMO is a definite Go.

Swiftkey beta al the way. Been using swiftkey since 2011 and the beta version since 2014. Built up large personal range of phrases (mostly work related) which is very handy in predictions. As for lag on large documents, I have not come across it. I use office 365 exclusively so perhaps the merge of swiftkey into MS head something to do with that

Used Swiftkey for years. Then started using both Swiftkey and Gboard and now mainly Gboard. Both great keyboards. Either one is a winner.

Can't go wrong with SwiftKey or Gboard honestly. I use SwiftKey 99% of the time. I've never experienced any of the issues mentioned, but I could make an argument for using Gboard as well.
