Are your keypad lights (under the letters ) blue or yellow/white? I just noticed my girl's new g2 has the clear lights but her old one had blue.

Mine's is white, and has always been. Blue sounds like it would look cool though.

I got my g2 last Tuesday and they are blue as well. Its like a soft blue.

Wow that blue looks really cool, I've had 3 G2's so far and the key's have all been white.

Mine are white as well. Not sure where, how, or even if possible to change it. Curious what color the ring around the touch pad lights up as for her, mine is white.

I just tried to color the keys with a blue highlighter. Doesn't stick. I wanted the ALT numbers to be a different color rather than just the white. I keep pushing P when I want O because the zero is on the P. Any ideas on how to do this.
I wonder if a permanent marker would work. . .

Having an option to change would be nice. Is there a possibility that could be done in the ROM somehow? What does it take to change the color of an LED? My old MT3G had the ability to change the led color for notifications.

I think it might be the lighting that you are seeing the G2 under. Under some indoor lighting my keys look like a soft blue, but under most lighting conditions they look purely white
