Kies Update Problem !

Hi Good day everyone. I owned T.Mobile Samsung s2 SGH-t989 and i own it for last 1 and a half years. Since then i dont have time to update my phones firmware then i try to update that today but i followed the steps on kies website. After downloading the kies i connect my phone usb to my computer win 7 / now i click and install the latest firmware appear on my desktop then i finished the download. now my phone is now on ODIN mode and downloading ... do not turn off the target black screen. I waited up to 4 hours but nothing happen. Please help me guys my question is what shud i do the best thing i can do ? :'(
