I've read that it may not be a good idea to remove the DRM files, but is it okay to stop the DRM services that are always in the Running Services section? also, i've stopped the Market Alarm one and it didn't seem to affect anything... plus i'm seeing better battery life killing some of these

I've been deleting DRM apk's since DI01, including now with DL30, and I've never had a single problem beside really long battery life.

If you're concerned, just rename the apks from .apk to .old and see if problems crop up. I'd bet nothing will happen.

Thanks, i just froze them with Ti and it seems to be fine... its just that I thought i read on a thread where adrynalyn mentioned removing those files can cause problems with 2.2 but i'll take your word for it and so far so good
