but does anyone feel like when they see their battery like in number form as opposed to say just the battery graphic indicator they feel like its draining faster?

I feel like this happens to me, totally physiological

I find the opposite. I don't have a battery number on my Nexus 7 and I find that it always looks worse than it is.

I like having the number, it seems more accurate than the graphic. It always seems that if my battery is below 50% and I watch a video, it seems to drain faster but I really think you're right, it's physiological in that I feel like it's low so I watch it more often.

I prefer the number and I do not feel it drains faster.. With just the graphic it may take maybe a loss of 5 percent before you see it move as opposed to seeing it go down each percent.

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

I almost never even notice my battery icon on my WP unless I get the 10% remaining warning. That usually happens at home and I just plug in next to my keyboard. When I look at mine though, I am always thinking, "ehh, its about 50% or so." I will occasionally go to my battery setting and notice that its actually about 44% or something. Then I immediately get a slight anxious feeling of wondering if I need to plug it in or not.

I like seeing the actual percentage. On my old thunderbolt you could actually see the number drop as you're using it. Lol

Bit of off topic here, but the term is psychological :-)

Physiological is defined as below:

1. Of or relating to physiology.

2. Being in accord with or characteristic of the normal functioning of a living organism.

I do agree with with you that battery drain has a large psychological component.

Somebody knows how to use a dictionary.

I prefer the number, but to each it's own. It's all in your mind, don't let it get to you.:D

And you're right; different word with totally different meaning. I also was going to comment on that but you posted first.:p:D
