Only the books i purchase through Amazon can be read on Kindle app on Evo?
on the computer which are ebooks, will they play on the app?

Any ebooks you buy from Amazon can be read on the Kindle app. Ebooks that you've acquired through other means cannot be read on the Kindle app.
