Kindle Fire Battery Life

All of a sudden my Kindle is draining CRAZY fast. Like in 24 hours it goes from charged to totally drained to the point where it shuts down. Or I let it charge over night, unplug it in the morning, and when I got home from work it was at 26%. That is with literally zero use. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

How old is it? Usually it might be an app that is misbehaving and needs updated but the same thing happened on my Samsung phone and turns out the battery needed replaced.

We are having the same problem. Could it be related to a recent update, almost seems like something is running in the background, alexa is disabled, wifi off.
